Like in a real garden, my ice flowers come and go. Humidity and temperature need to be just right to make these ice crystals grow. A few days ago it appeared as we would have ice on the window panes, so thick, you could not see the individual crystals any more. Then, out of the blue the ice flowers disappeared…only to come back over time.
It’s a spectacle in the morning, when the sun rises. The crystals begin to sparkle and come to life with the new day.
I think they are beautiful to watch and very timely for the upcoming holidays.
