One Man's Paradise

In a different light – № 3

“Once upon a time, a reindeer took a running leap and jumped over the Northern Lights.

But he jumped too low, and the long fur of his beautiful flowing tail got singed by the rainbow fires of the aurora.”

Vera Nazarian

Over the last days the aurora borealis activity was at storm level. Unfortunately, the weather in Southeast Alaska was also at storm level. A rare, clear sky a few nights ago gave us a glimpse at the Northern Lights. It was just a glimpse, but still an amazing show. Looking forward to dark, starry nights with Pink Floyd laser shows in the sky.

    • And the aurora is something you really have to see live. Pictures are a pale representation, because they don’t show the immensity not the motion.
