Another short Arctic summer comes to its end.

The mosquitoes are gone, so are the warm and pleasant afternoons.
Darkness and the stars have returned.
The virus is still here.
Be safe.
Keep safe too, Thomas.
I haven’t done a search, but I wonder how the virus is affected by the cold and snow in winter?
Thanks for the glimpse into this stunning and not-often-seen-by-most location. The four yellow-topped tall grass knobs and the rocky hill with grassy pond reflection photos are my personal favorites, though they’re all very lovely.
Side note: I was using floss to cut cinnamon rolls the other day and Michael said it reminded him of something an assassin would use to carry out a Job. Then he quietly whispered, “Baking Bad…”
We all hope you’re doing well ☺️
Gorgeous photos as always! 😍
Thank you. It’s just gorgeous up here. And within 3 months you get everything from snow and ice to fall colors.
Don’t I know it! Autumn is definitely here on the Kenai Peninsula. Got our first frost, so winter is around the corner, though I haven’t seen any termination dust on the mountains… which I would have expected by now.
Thank you for sharing, stay safe also.
