Resurrection River Valley is one beautiful place. Snow-capped mountains, the Exit glacier, and great light – always. The Glacier Overlook Trail quickly gains elevation for great vistas, because from above everything is twice as beautiful. Well, at least the trees are out of your way, so you can actually marvel at the scenery.

I find the simplest sight in nature to be beautiful, but sometimes have to review my archival photos to find some of the best sights in my urban setting.

True, I’m very lucky to have lived next to a main river, parkland or even nature reserves 6-7 times in my adult working life…..and now in retirement. I’ve also had 3 quite productive balcony gardens in my apartment living.
I still yearn for the wilderness or moutains though.
